At Stephansplatz, there’s a Stephansdom.

I’m quite fascinated by the fact that a lot of places got their name from a house of worship which was built there. Whether you’re a believer or not, you can never escape from its presence. It’s often rooted deeply in your country’s history, and for that, it you’ll see it in your everyday life. So I took the metro, and get off at Stephansplatz. It was a no brainer, once I got out of the exit, I saw the St. Stephans Cathedral (Stephansdom) right next to me. I wonder what would the church goers in the 12 Century think to see a metro exit right next to their beloved church. Evil modernization or convenience?
